Success with English Book 1 Module 5 Transport

一、            教学内容分析
本节课主要学习交通工具的词汇,同时要求学生能运用相关的句型询问及回答。交通工具是学生非常熟悉的话题,而且学生在二年级下学期Unit 1 I go to school by bus中已经学过了bike,bus,taxi,motorbike,underground等词汇,在前一个Module中学生已初步学过句型What’s this\that\it in English ? It’s a …,所以教师在教学过程中要注意引导学生回忆,充分利用学生已有的学习基础。
二、            教学策略
1.设计学生感兴趣的游戏,活动及情景,培养学生用语言的能力
2.帮助学生掌握记忆单词的方法。
三、            教学目标
(一)语言知识目标
1.词汇
  “四会”掌握单词:plane ,bus ,car ,bike ,ship ,truck ,boat ,taxi.
  “三会”掌握单词:spaceship ,motorbike。
2.“四会”掌握句型
    What is this \ that \it ?       It’s …
    Is this \ that \ it …?         Yes, it is. \ No, it isn’t.
    It isn’t …
(二) 语言技能目标
   1.能听、说、读、写本节学的表示工具的单词。
   2.能在游戏和交际会话中运用已学的单词及句型。
(三)情感态度目标
1.通过参与本节课的学习,培养学生参与课堂教学活动的兴趣和积极性,提高语言交际能力,增强学习自信心。
2.教育学生要注意交通安全,珍惜生命。
(四)学习策略目标
  1.Train the pupils to think, observe, imagine and cooperate with others actively.
  2. Enjoy the activities in the class.
(五)文化意识目标
  1.To inform the pupils of the difference between traffic rules in China and in the other countries.

五、Difficult points :1.Identify ‘this’ and ‘that’.
                   2.Memorize the new words and use the sentence structures in communication.

1.Game2:continue the guessing game 1 to teach the new words and the sentence: What’s this \ that \it?(stick on the blackboard)  (CAI)
2.Game 3 to teach the sentences: Is this \that\ it …? It isn’t …and the new words :plane , bike , truck , taxi (Present the simple drawing step by step)    (CAI)
3.Show some pictures on the screen then ask the pupils to practice.
1.Look , listen and read after the teacher.
2.Look,guess and answer .try to learn after the teacher.
3.Try to use the sentences and the words to ask and answer.
To speak out and spell the new words.
To practice with the new words and the important sentences.
Post-task
1.Games: Review the new words through games, and check the pupils weather they master the words or not.(ask the pupils to see the pictures quickly and ask what they can see.
2.Give some exercises: Match the pictures and the words.
3.Let the pupils to make a simple dialogue.
4. Choose some groups to act out.
1.Join the game (Look at the pictures then try to remember.)
2.Finish the exercises.
3.Use the sentence structures they learned today to make a dialogue with their toy transport in groups.
4.Act out their dialogues.
To master the new words .Arouse the pupils’ interests.

1.Sum up the new words and the sentence structures.
2.Tell the pupils must observe the traffic rules.
